MACRO- AND MICROMORPHOLOGY OF FLACOURTIA CATAPHRACTA ROXB CULTIVATED IN EGYPT: STEM, LEAF, AND STEM-BARK

Abstract

The detailed macro-and micromorphological characters of the stems, leaves and stembark
of Flacourtia cataphracta Roxb. (Syn. F. jangomas Raeusch) were studied with the aim to
find out the diagnostic elements of these organs, which facilitate their identification in both
entire and powdered forms.
