A new nor-oleanane having the structure 3β,28-dihydroxy-19-oxo-27-noroleanane (I) has been isolated from the stem bark of Vitis vinifera L variety Thompson seedless, beside the known compds., β-sitosterol, betulin and betulinic acid.
