Two ionone glycosides namely 3-oxo-α-ionyl-β-glucoside and vomifoliol, were isolated from polar fraction of the methanolic ext. of the aerial parts of Crotalaria thebaica (Del.) DC upon repeated column chromatog., together with syringresinol-O-β-D-glucopyranoside and maltol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside. The structure of these compds. have been established by extensive spectroscopic studies.
